Great Food and a Lovely Market. I visited here on a cloudy Sunday afternoon for brunch at Hide & Hoof and found The Barn Market was open too. The Barn has a nice selection of local Yorkshire independent stores selling unique goods like stylish prints with Yorkshire slang and hand made jewellery. At Hide & Hoof Farm Restaurant, it was very busy on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant has a large capacity with both ground floor and upstairs eating areas but despite this it was very busy for Sunday lunch. I’d recommend booking a table ahead of schedule if possible. I had a group of 7 and was seated upstairs. The restaurant atmosphere is lovely as was the interior decor of the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and served me and my friends promptly after we decided what we wanted to eat. I ordered the 3 stack of American Pancakes with crispy chicken, chargrilled back bacon & maple syrup which costs £10.95 and I also ordered a Pot ‘a’ Tots (hash brown bites) from the special menu which costs £3.95. The food arrived within 40 minutes on a very busy Sunday. The crispy chicken was cooked beautifully and was paired well with the bacon and syrup, the tots were lovely, fried and cooked to perfection! Worth the wait. After brunch, I ordered ice-cream from The Udder Room. Downstairs in the restaurant the ice-cream counter was very busy and I was asked to visit the outdoor store instead. There is a nice selection of ice-cream available (see my photos). I ordered the double scoop of Biscoff & Raspberry Ripple in a cone which costs £4. The ice-cream wasn’t particularly special but topped off the lovely brunch. Overall, I had a lovely afternoon at Hide & Hoof Farm Restaurant. The service was good and the food was great. I would like to visit again and try different food at the restaurant. I think next time I would also give the ice-cream a miss.

This is a jem in the countryside. If you're looking to go some place out of the way and unique in its own right, then this is the place for you, your family, and the dog. They have 3 massive barns, two are a market style selling all sorts of foods and clothing and jewellery and artists items. The other barn has a beer and wine van bar and also a really good ice cream van within the barn with seating. There are also burger vans outside that are available. There are toilets but unfortunately only available for abled walking people and not suitable for baby changing. Keep in mind this is on a farm on farm land. Parking is free on a grass field, and there is plenty of space. Dog friendly with water bowls available. I fully endorse this adventure and highly recommend 👌

Having driven past many times, the weather and timing made for a great excuse to call in today. I chose to go for a double scoop ice-cream cone with one scoop chocolate and the other scoop salted caramel. The flavours were delicious and it is easy to tell why they are "award winning". The ladies serving on the counter were happy to recommend their favourite flavours, which I will be back to try after this great first experience. The waffles and ice-cream are on my wish list next time as well. There is also a coffee shop/restaurant but I did not enter but looks great for gatherings with friends and family for a nice catch up in a beautiful part of the world. The views on the journey here are amazing and add to the overall experience of the visit.

Didn't get to go in it was packed and people queuing outside. Originally went for craft Market was nice but only small didn't take long to walk round. Was very cold so went to the Barn Bar. Inside an old what looked like a cow shed sat on benches with furry rugs to sit on instead of a cold bench. Had a log fire oven inside to keep ya warm. Was oddley satisfyingly and cosy. There was a small unit selling alcohol and hot drinks. Was nice little place to get out of the bitter cold outside. Toilets are a mobile unit but are quiet posh inside. The sinks are shallow we say different.
