Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Knowsley

I went here 4th nov 23,Saturday morning on way to work it was 8am! I drove round the drive through the screen was showing no signal so I drove to the window to be greated by a middle aged woman sayin ‘ya haven’t orderd at the screen with the biggest attitude known to man, I replied the screen isn’t working it says no signal, she replied‘it’s been like that for months! How I’m I ment to know this? So I said to her can I order here ? She rolled her eyes at me and said ‘what do ya want?? Hurry up while there’s no Que , I drove into a empty drive through and no cars were behind me, I drove off in shock! I’ve never ever experienced customer service like this in my life! Nice clean place, warm, cosy. First visit (supposed to be) today. I was in the queue, one person in front of me. Staff was loud, no impressions of the faces a kinda ‘Karen’ attitude. I thought I could spend there a little time with a hot coffee and some cakes or sandwiches while awaiting the hospital results… Well, when it was my turn to order, the barista over shouted to the two delivery guys, like I wasn’t there… it is not a MUST for me to sit down, spending my money at all. I think that’s the issue with most of the similar places, the delivery has priority, not the people who wants an hour off of the daily routines, and just enjoying the coffee and cakes somewhere out’….

Had the Salted Caramel Frostino with Coffee which was delicious - BUT it needs to be served in a larger Latte Glass NOT a small tumbler. The drink was over-flowing the tumbler. The assistant gave me TWO paper napkins which became saturated before I could pick the drink up ............... I had to REQUEST a small plate for the drink to go on - even though the assistant could see that I was struggling! Not a brilliant 'Customer Experience'!

Also, the paper straw was woefully useless as it clogged up and then went 'mushy'.
