We've been twice and had 2 very different experiences. First time it was faultless, but on the second visit the poached eggs were awful. Literally three people in our party all ordered poached eggs on toast and only 1 of the 6 eggs were acceptable. They also came seasoned, but as we dont all like salt and black pepper, some of the eggs were left. My daughter, literally had 2 egg yolks and no egg white whatsoever. They should never have served them! Despite the good first visit, the great location and it being dog friendly we won't be returning as we're not prepared to gamble when we're paying £10 for eggs, toast...

We won't be coming back. Ordered two meals and waited about 40 minutes - and the food arrived only moderately hot. Waitress actually PUT HER THUMB in the sauce when bringing the food (the plate was quite small, but the portions were not generous). I have to say, I have never seen that in many years of eating out! The food was disappointing, not filling and expensive given the lack of finesse. We tried three pepper pots but none had any pepper in them. I have concerns about the food hygiene practices. The food was mediocre. It was a great...

My first visit to the tearooms whilst visiting family. What a hidden gem. The food was delicious and between us all we had meat and potato pie, panini, fish and chips, lemon meringue pie, chocolate cake and vanilla slice all absolutely beautiful. You can just come for a coffee and a cake as many did whilst we were there. The service was excellent and staff so friendly. Outside there is ample parking with a small shop and garden centre, play area for the children and both inside and outside dog friendly. Look forward to returning. Thank...

OMG, what a wee gem of a place and it serves Illy coffee.... to die for.... found this on Sunday great wee place. Food amazing, staff amazing. A must if your in the area. We just got there when a party of 40 arrived (pre booked)... there was no flapping, the staff just carried on and got everyone served and still had time to chat. Then we went back for s second coffee. Nothing was a bother. The cakes looked amazing, will try them next time. Highly recommended.

Always excellent food and a good range of local produce to buy. Staff are always very helpful and friendly, been going here for years Highly recommended Lots of Good free parking gets a bit busy when they have an event on so watch out for that. The Village is a nightmare to get through as very old and narrow but not exactly their fault it's just the location.

What a great place to spend an hour or so. I went when they had the hotrods and classic bikes visiting and loved it. The tea room is excellent, OK it's on the pricey side but as an occasional treat what the hell eh. The lemon muffins were proper yummy and on top of that the sun was belting down. A great day at a really lovely place, recommended 👍
