We've been twice and had 2 very different experiences. First time it was faultless, but on the second visit the poached eggs were awful. Literally three people in our party all ordered poached eggs on toast and only 1 of the 6 eggs were acceptable. They also came seasoned, but as we dont all like salt and black pepper, some of the eggs were left. My daughter, literally had 2 egg yolks and no egg white whatsoever. They should never have served them! Waitress actually PUT HER THUMB in the sauce when bringing the food (the plate was quite small, but the portions were not generous). I have to say, I have never seen that in many years of eating out! Read moreMy first visit to the tearooms whilst visiting family. What a hidden gem. The food was delicious and between us all we had meat and potato pie, panini, fish and chips, lemon meringue pie, chocolate cake and vanilla slice all absolutely beautiful. You can just come for a coffee and a cake as many did whilst we were there. The service was excellent and staff so friendly.
