The George — Restaurant in Lancaster

Stopped by for a working lunch on a Friday. Service was really warm and welcoming, menu is a mix of small plates (like jalapeño poppers, halloumi fries, nachos), chicken wings and tenders, smashed burgers. Called in here for a couple of pints and gin and tonic for mrs on the way home as this is a cask marque accredited pub. new bar staff on duty and we're not properly trained had to ask for ice and lemon in the G+T. the place is very well set out and groups of locals in each area having fun also...

This is a great pub not your upmarket one, but great staff so friendly, can't do enough for you kids welcome and friendly pets. The food is also great not a massive menu but enough.What I like most is that it's all fresh and no microwave food . Proberbly more of a local but excellent all round Good...
