Cosy village pub. It is a lot smaller than it looks from the outside. This was my first time visiting. Lovely, friendly waitress serving us. Food is quite pricey for the quality. You do get a decent portion though. Unfortunately my beef stew was drowning in oil. I also found a large piece of plastic in it. We were compensated for this however. Great service. It is a tad drafty in there and when there's screaming kids in such a small area it isn't so enjoyable.

The food was homemade and we enjoyed it a lot. A little pricy but it was worth it. The place was a little drafty and we would have loved it if the stove was on. It had some really nice touches, like the fresh flowers on the tables. The staff was very polite and kind as well. Overall, it's a lovely place that you need to visit. You won't regret it! We will be coming back soon.

Dined this evening because the Valentine's menu looked so good (we don't even celebrate v day). The food didn't disappoint, every dish executed to perfection, you cam really tell the chef cares about what they send out to diners. The service as always was friendly and welcoming. 5 stars. We highly recommend The Fox & Hound in Bramhope.

Avoid for now- chef has walked out!!! We pre-booked a table for a meal for 7/8 people at lunchtime on the 27th as it was my sister’s Birthday. Only when we arrived we were told that the chef had walked out so they were not serving food! We stayed for a drink (didn’t have much choice) while ringing around dozens of other places to try to find anywhere that could accommodate us. Understandably everywhere was booked up. After an hour eventually got offered a table at the Chevin Inn, where we had a fabulous meal. The barman at the Chevin had heard lots of people walked out of the Fox on Christmas Day without paying as the food and service was so bad. I would definitely avoid for a couple of months at least until they sort their kitchen out. And while we definitely sympathise with the owners predicament, we were not offered a single free drink for the inconvenience and what was almost a disastrous birthday outing at the...

Checked into the local hotel prior to flying from Leeds Bradford and set straight off to walk to this pub in the nearby village. The weather was bitterly cold &damp with thick fog and drizzle but we didn't mind,we'd found the pub on the internet and were looking forward to relaxing by the fire with with a drink and a lovely meal. The website promised "the best hospitality in Yorkshire " and locally sourced home cooked food. We knew that food was only served until 7.30 so we had set off straight away to be in good time. We arrived at 5 minutes to 7 , felt the warmth and smelt the inviting food. "Are we ok for food ?" We asked cheekily."No I've just served the last meals, kitchens closed " . Stunned we started in disbelief ,turned & walked back out into the cold night. Obviously not an accurate or up to...

Hosted my friends baby shower at The Loft. Absolutely fantastic day. Staff where helpful and friendly the venue was absolutely stunning before decorations and amazing afterwards. We chose the loft as we had previously been to a party earlier in the year and we where so impressed we made a booking. Food was fantastic and catered for everyone’s needs. We also returned the next day to collect some stuff we had left behind and decided to stay for lunch, again great staff super friendly, delicious food and reasonable prices. The beer garden was great plenty of room for the kids to run around. In a stunning location over all a great place and we will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone @ The fox...
