The Gardeners Arms — Restaurant in Leeds

I had my family come down from the north and asked were they could take myself and my partner for Sunday lunch I said iv heard the gardeners arm,s are nice so we settled for there. There was four adults and three children we were put in the wrong seats when we first went in so had to move then when our lunch came whot a big disappointment every thing about it was awfull the veg was raw and cold the mash was powdery and flattened on the plate as thoe all the plates were piled on top of each other and put in the oven to keep warm the lamb my son-in-law got was as tho it was heated in Warter the beef was dry around the sides and tuff it was like it was all preperd the night befor and preheated and I don't like how all the food came with gravy on whot if I didn't like gravy my son-in-law agroched the girl when she came to the table and she just kept saying the veg wasn't raw or the mash wasn't powdery and the lamb wasn't watery did she eat dinner befor she started not even a apology my son-in-law spent £50 odd quid on food and £15 something on drinks and not one apologiy I don't think that was fare it alot of mony when you haven't got alot they thought they were treating us out for the day because I don't see alot of my daughter and my grandchildren and use might do Ok with chip,s and burgers and things like that because they less hassle to do but cooking Sunday lunches sorry...

Called on Thursday evening for a meal with my friend totally ignored and left standing at the door. Saw one plate of food come out but still nobody came to us, saw bar staff regularly looking at us but made no attempt to speak to us. Then the member if staff who brought the plate of food out appeared behind the bar with his mouth full of food, then a gentleman came from around the corner with his empty glass and lo and behold who got served first, yes your right the guy wanting his beer, and when I pointed out that we had been stood waiting for at least 10 all I got was a shrug of the shoulders having been a customer regularly if the previous owners we thought we would give it a try, but we will never step foot in that place and would certainly recommend my friends nit to go...

Hi we came for a meal last week. It was lovely until my sister went to cut up her second piece of chicken but couldn't as I dont think it was cooked correctly. I mentioned this to a member of staff but got no feed back at all which I was disappointed as on our arrival everyone seemed very pleasant.

We came in last Thursday approx 4.45pm my sister was the disabled person you helped with the door.

Did you get time to look into this please.

It has put us off coming back as even after telling someone of the issue it was just ignored and i don't class that as good customer...
