We booked a table for a lovely family meal out and the seven of us were sat at a big round table where we were looked after my Gary. The food was great! First time in a decade that I've had a good meal from a Harvester. All the staff were polite, the salad bar was in a fantastic condition and well stocked. The meat on the main meal was succulent and tasty (I had the second to largest Chicken and Ribs meal). Desserts were really nice too and didn't taste of over sugared whipped cream. We had seen that Gary was having a tough shift with everything from wrong orders sent out from the bar to glasses being hid in menus and getting smashed. Despite all of this Gary remained smiling, polite and kept a great sense of humour. If we didn't live out of the area we would return frequently and we hope that both this Harvester and others, continue to cherish such staff members. (and don't forget that a little tip for good service can go a long way).

I've not been to a harvester for years, what can I say, it's been my loss. Jack our server along with the rest of the team were spot on and very friendly. Whilst we were waiting to be seated every member that passed apologised for our wait and said that the person whose name I can't remember who seated customers would be over shortly. We were seated, given menus and offers and Explained how it worked and who our server would be. The interior was modern, organic and very comfortable, even as the restaurant filled it never seemed full. And the food came out fast and was really good quality and value, salad was unlimited along with soft drinks. I hope that all harvesters are this good and will be using their online system to book a table when in the area again, as it's really easy, well done Bassett's pole harvester. I'll be back !!!

The lunch time menu could do with a fews more options on it, however the pricing was very acceeptable. The building seemed well maintained on the outside and the grounds kept clean. The inside of the building had a nice layout with tables having nice views from windows and doors. Some of walls had visable food stains on them, and the carpet was looking worn in places, the chairs included. The salad bar was presented beautifully with a good assortment, however food covers might be an idea with all the flies buzzing around due to the hot weather. Overall a great visit and well worth the time and effort to get there.

Booked last minute for Monday night , as was staying locally , was lady you show me to a table, then I was served by a guy called Luke, I must say it was pleasant and polite , very helpful and he felt like he enjoyed his work and happy to do whatever to please me and also everyone he was serving 👍🏻👍🏻 Food was good and I doubled up on a few items as I felt rather hungry ,, but admit I left some to make room for my desert 🙈🙈 been 20 years since I’d been here ,, and won’t leave it so long next time , great work all , thank you

Had a lovely experience here today at lunch time. I took my Mum as we had a 50% off voucher. We both had a steak sandwich which was lovely! The salad bar is always a massive hit with us! Such a good variety! Our waiter today was Gary and he was a great guy! It was clearly too busy for the amount of staff working at that time but he made sure that we felt welcome and we were served quickly and he had a smile on his face. Thank you Gary for making our visit a pleasant experience! 😊

Never have I experienced more attentive and friendly staff (special mention to Lauren). Nothing was too much bother and all staff went out of their way to make our visit great! Free Salad bar is a bonus and although you can no longer add things yourself, the staff are very generous with the portions. I had steak sandwich which was nice but the four stars and not five are because the bun was slightly soggy at the bottom and the steak a little fatty. Would definitely return!
