Called in here about 5pm. Never been before. Intended to go to Centurian but, for some reason, kitchen closed. Well, Centurian’s loss and the Gatehouse’s gain. Very nice lady served us, Dawn. Very attentive and a good advert for the chain. Barry ordered a mixed grill and I, tentatively, ordered a rump steak on the proviso that “if it was not good, it would go back”. Well, both meals were delicious, my steak was excellent, could not fault it. It would have been a good price but, unfortunately, I had to order a Ned Sauvignon Blanc which pushed the price up a bit. Cannot show photos of our meals cos I forgot😡. BUT, will definitely go back and will remember to add photos of our meal. Cannot understand some morons’ reviews. One said “lovely place and staff” and awarded 1⭐️? Do they not understand how important reviews are to a business.
