Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Liverpool

One of the worst cafes I've ever been to. Half of the ingredients on the ultimate breakfast were inedible. Fried bread was rock hard, as was the black pudding. The pot of beans had actually dried out. They sausage had a piece of bone in that i had to spit out. The bacon came in little mashed up pieces that they tried to hide underneath other items. I asked for the bacon to be changed, which they did. They gave me two new slices of bacon that stunk. It literally smelled disgusting. Told the server to smell it and she agreed and gave me my money back. Offered to get me something else off the menu for free as well as a refund, but no way i was eating anything else from there. Even for free. Also had to stand around for 10 minutes waiting for a clean cup and a knife. Absolutely terrible experience. Will never go back there again. Oh and had to clear and clean my own table on arrival, as all the empty tables were covered with dirty plates and cutlery still. Maybe they need more staff working in there. I know it's cheap food, but that was absolutely disgusting from start to finish. Shame on...

The food came out burnt to a crisp. I ordered the chicken burger and what arrived looked líkt it fell to the bottom of the fryer and was left in there for 40 minutes if not longer. Cannot fault the service though, as I explained the situation when the food arrived to the chef and she was extremely apologetic, informing me that she was the only one in the kitchen and trying her best. After I received the food back, the chicken burger was decent, and the cups were cold but that is my fault for asking them to remake the burger.

The lady then came back out and told me she apologised for the wait, and to help myself to a cake or muffin or drink for the troubles. She was a sweetheart, and so apologetic I couldn't fault the service.

Atmosphere is pretty quiet but the chairs were hard and pretty...
