Café @ No.4 — Restaurant in London

Just visited this cafe today for lunch went for a chicken burger with chips costing £4.95.

At first I asked the cafe employee/employer if he could put everything in the burger he agreed to it and then shouts out chef everything in the burger so basically cheese, tomato etc.

He then charges me extra £5.95. I asked him why you charging me extra and the person replies we charge extra for cheese and tomato.

Then why did you not tell me that before instead asks chef to make the burger straight away.

I quickly asked him to cancel it so was charged £4.95 instead.

Whilst waiting for my food another cafe employee comes to me with my food in a take away box when I clearly said I’m eating in.

This was later changed to a plate with the food I ordered.

Now this meal I had is not worth £4.95 it should be less than that as seen in the photos. But as I was hungry I...

I’ve noticed other reviewers have also commented on the bill being unexpectedly higher. I was told my iced coffee (no extras, just a regular sized coffee with ice) would be £3.80 when it came to paying my bill! There was no price on the menu so maybe that was my fault for not asking, but as a normal latte was listed as £2.60 I didn’t think it would be so much more than that - even high-end coffee shops I’ve been to in London haven’t charged £3.80. I wish I could give 5 stars as the staff here seem lovely, but it seems they need to reevaluate some of their pricing or be more transparent about any hidden extra costs on the menu so there are...

Went here twice whilst doing work experience with my dad, ordered their all American breakfast both times and each time it was delicious (if you do order this make sure to ask for syrup on the side as it's very sweet and may not mix well with the other items) on top of this it was served quick and hot, finally the cafe itself was immaculate, very clean and had nice music that was playing in the background.
