Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

I have always found this to be an above average branch with some decently made coffee by Costa standards. It's much nicer now too with the recent refurb.

EDIT: I visited yesterday and they had the doors wide open constantly in the middle of winter due to them being broken. No sign. No apology after I tried to shut them. Just rudeness from the staff. It was like sitting in a cold unfriendly bus shelter. Rubbish.

EDIT: A year on and this place is STILL just as bad. It's an hour and three quarters before closing time and I'm sitting in here in what feels like a bus shelter due to the door being left open in winter and am surrounded by tables from outside that stink of cleaning spray and was hearded into a sketchy area to sit by a staff member who's overall vibe can best be described as 'over it' which I guess explains the lack of common manners. I'm drinking from the takeaway cup that I was forced to have even though I asked to drink in. What is wrong with this branch?! I'm only in here as the queue to get out the car park is horrendous

Wouldn't let my 7 year old use the loo even when the doors were open because the staff just want to go home above any kind of customer service.

Why are we paying close to £5 a coffee...

Staff don’t know what they’re doing, as one person takes orders they stop in the middle to shout (incorrect) instructions to others to make the coffee. This means they barely listen to the rest of your order - I must’ve repeated myself about 6 times purely because he kept stopping to talk to those making the coffee and repeating the order to them as they didn’t seem to understand. Coffee was the wrong size, put in take away cups even though I repeatedly said dine in to the person taking my order. The coffee itself looked nothing like the pictures advertised, was super sweet and lukewarm. Staff need to focus more on actually listening customers and making decent coffee. I asked for clarification on which coffee was which and instead of listening to my question, the lady kept repeating herself louder and more aggressively. Sums up the problem in this branch, the staff don’t listen. Avoid...

I was so excited to have Costa at my door step... Couldn't get more disappointed... I have been coming for past week ... I like my coffee strong ...would never order any different than double espresso to drink in...simple.... but never in this place. I have been asked 3 different prices for the same drink within 7 days! 1.65, 2.00 or 2.20 ... cash only obviously .. they don't except card payments. On one occasion serving lady poured hot water to my espresso and changed it into americano. She than asked me 20p extra when I complained. All small amounts and makes no difference to my pocket or the business it self .... but I found it enoying and logic less. Staff is miserable and struggling with proper service. They are only new business on the Greenford Brodway and I wish them all the best ... but they will not be my cup of...
