Linguine Restaurant Hainault — Restaurant in London

We had a 1.15pm booking for a party of 3. We initially drove into the adjoining Hainault Golf Course buildings car park with very limited spaces but were not able to see the restaurant. Once we were guided, we came out and turned almost immediately into the correct restaurants adjoining large car park which had complimentary parking, always a good thing. You know you are in the correct carpark when you see the restaurant on your left as you enter. Entrance to the restaurant is on the right hand corner of the building, up a few flight of outdoor stairs.

On entering the restaurant, we were led by the most charming of hostesses, Millie, to our reserved circular table near the window, overlooking the golf course. At that time, there were 4 other people in the restaurant. So nice and quiet, just how I like it as it gives you a far greater personalised service.

We selected to dine from the 3 course choices menu which had items to cater for varied tastes.

My choice of starter was Prawn 🦐 Cocktail which I then went on to tailor to my taste with a outstanding orange coloured picaunt sauce brought to me by the male host instead of my requested chilli flakes. I am glad this alternative was given because it was exveotional. I topped the prawn cocktail with this sauce, I freshly milled black pepper and generous squeeze of lime. The flavour was perfect. There was also no lingering fish smell, so excellent package.

My main course was stuffed chicken covered in parma ham, oozing with cheese and a well balanced mix of green beans which were crisp but render and cooked perfectly as well as the accompanying vegetables. Perhaps a few more slices of potatoes would have completed a otherwise perfect dish.

My dessert was Tiramisu. This normally comes with vanilla icecream. I asked for chocolate scoop instead and Millie promptly obliged. This was extremely creamy, a lot more than I have seen when I have had it elsewhere, presented with a chocolate drizzle and 2 quarters of strawberries.

This truly was icing on the cake for me as it completed a well rounded meal.

Millie was a delightful hostess and I would like to thank her and her male colleague who brought me the special spiced sauce to enhance my Prawn Cocktail and my Chicken dish.

The 2 members in my party had the Aranchani, Prawn cocktail, tagliatelle Pollo e fungi and chicken parma ham. They all enjoyed their respective dishes and complimented the meal package. Living comparatively this venue, they had no idea this restaurant existed and was so good. They plan to organise subsequent group visits here. By the time we left, I the restaurant was full up.

What an absolutely exquisite outing today, It was the perfect place to end up in, after the fresh air walk in the fabulous nearby Hainault forest country park.
