The Brothers Fish Bar — Restaurant in London

I ordered food from them today at 7.15 pm. The delivery time was within 45 minutes after placing my order I received an email that food will be 20 minutes delayed; however, after two hours, food didn't arrive. My whole family was fasting. We opened our fast without food, and I drove to the shop to find out about my order. I attempted to call them 26 times, but they were not picking up the phone. Both guys at the shop were very rude. Even though I told them that we were fasting and the food didn't arrive on time, they were not apologetic and said the money could be returned. Overall I was impressed with the service and quality of the food. It was my first visit after I saw that they advertised a 5-star hygiene rating which always gives me confidence. I ordered a regular size Cod & Chips. The chips portion was very generous with a few crunchy bits, the cod was cooked in a nice batter. To improve I think the cod fillets should be cut thicker rather than being thin and long, to make the meal complete they could have thrown in a wedge of lemon and some tartar sauce. Fish and chips here are excellent quality, which is the reason for 5 stars. Well seasoned battered fish, and great tasting chips.

I dropped a star because I did try a battered sausage here though, and it was the worst battered sausage I've ever had at a fish and chip shop. Seriously needs reviewing and changing out. Sausage was cheap, weird flavour with a soggy texture.
