Firstly the chef didn't want our order at half1 for a 22 pound order I'd stay, then as order was written wrong by the young lad always on his phone. And shaaking his hair behind the vounter no hair band or net. Hygiene is a main issues for me tables needed cleaning wrong breakfast was given, staff had to keep being told and we didn't feel the service was at a good standard. I will not be going back there Staff need to be trained about customer service/hygiene and the place needs a revamp a little worn down and dull... I thought I'd give it a try as I was told it was nice. I'm experienced cook I love my food and I don't like being put of my food I'd suggest experienced staff with food hygiene and a little revamp and clear signs on what time your open and closed. Good luck with it as i heard you say you couldnt buy a customer this morning so offered a bit of help via investment, revamp and nicer more welcoming staff.

Now here is s great little, very basic, quaint little hideaway in plain sight directly sat at the side of the main road. It's outside looks can deceive the humble cozey atmosphere within. It provideas a great stop off ahead of a long journey or a quick bite for family and friends on a road trip or just that quick lunch on the way. There is plenty of seating but beware it can get somewhat crowded during lunch times. The menu boasts of various traditional English breakfasts which will most certainly leave anyone filled at a reasonable price. There is a small outhouse style toilet at the outside of the premises which could get a bit nippy during colder months of the year. All in all it's a great little place to visit if you should pass by, give it a try.

Very nice and good variety I had the mont pictured (small) there is a monty (large) and a full monty (heart attack on a plate). But if you like that sort of thing (as I do) then why not besides I only had half an hour for lunch but there were other options too I liked it.

Drove 10 minutes to grab a takeaway cuppa before the place shut. Arrived at 13:50 so what we thought was plenty of time to get the couple of teas to get us through the rest of our work day down the road. Told when we walked in to order a tea that 'we're closed now so not doing drinks'. They advertise as closing at 2. If you don't take orders anything close to 2 - even for a take away tea - just bloody advertise as closing earlier. Waste of my time and poor attitude and customer service.

In response to owner saying the kettle had been filled with cold water: Well that's my point above. If you close at 2 why fill it up with cold water 10 minutes before close? Sounds like a convenient excuse for shoddy customer service. If you want to fill the kettle with cold water at 1.45, how about making 1.45 your...
