Now looking at some of the reviews i understand, this is not a wetherspoons, it is not all glossy and yes it could benefit from a refurb but as long as the staff are friendly, which they are and the beer is good (and cheep😄) it doesn't really matter, the way the pub trade is these days i can understand a refurb may be unaffordable, i guess for it to be open at all, we should be glad. This is strictly a locals pub, mainly for those who live in the Upminster Road North area of Rainham. I can appreciate the opinions of those who have wandered in here for the first time and have found the atmosphere a wee bit hostile.
