After several hours of hiking in Epping Forest, we reached this little cafe which is located in a very convenient location. It’s impossible to park a car outside but thankfully they have a large car park. We had our puppy with us which was allowed in - very much appreciated as gesture on behalf of the lady manager. The inside of the cafe is rather large too, split into two lounge areas. It appeared clean and tidy, friendly staff and good food (personally, I had full breakfast even though it was just after 2pm). Very affordable prices. Clean toilets. Very practical. It gave me the impression of a place for a comfort stop other than a destination where you’d bring your family or friends for Sunday roast or afternoon tea. We very much enjoyed our visit, the drinks and the food. If we were to return to Epping Forest again soon we’d definitely go back to this little cafe.

I popped in here on a whim after visiting a friend in the area. When I arrived I had my baby son asleep in a sling/carrier. A member of staff greeted me and brought a highchair to the table for when he woke up. I ordered a cheese and mushroom omelette with chips & salad. It was cooked and came to my table in a timely fashion. When my baby woke up I had to breastfeed him and felt comfortable and supported in doing so there. I ordered a coffee and gave my little one his lunch. The staff made a fuss of him and I felt that I was welcome to stay as long as I needed.

The Vallay Cafe is truly one of the best breakfast spots in the area. Their coffee is absolutely perfect – fresh, rich in flavor, and brewed just right. Combined with the delicious breakfast options and the warm atmosphere, it’s the ideal place to start your day. Highly recommended!

Where do I start….. Firstly I would like to say the customer service was absolutely TERRIBLE from the (owner of the BUSINESS) The way She spoke to me I can’t describe in words. She told me and everyone in her CAFE how much she didn’t care about my opinion and she didn’t need me as her customer because she has many others. All because i wanted a break down of my bill and wanted to know where the extra money came from. This place is 1000000% Racist! As I was leaving the OWNER SAID “This is what I mean about people like you” I have never in my life experience racial abuse. I never thought I ever would. Never again in my life would I ever step foot back into such a place. Don’t use my colour as a reason to treat me less. Do better, treat all your...
