Booked for a 2:30 on a Sunday. Didn’t have table ready so had to wait at the bar for 20 mins and then when we got the table, the one they gave us wasn’t big enough. The host was rude when we asked if it was ready. Didn’t check allergens, then when plate came with something someone was allergic to they got annoyed at us, to be fair it was on the menu, which we didn’t see, however it unacceptable how condescendingly this staff member responded. Overall staff was rude and slow. Prices hiked on Sunday, which is standard, but they refuse to do toasties, but don’t state that on the menu. They state that their lunch deal isn’t present, but it’s not clear you can’t order toasties at all. They said they made a decision as a restaurant and can’t change the menu to reflect it, that’s pretty poor. This was disappointing as half of our party wanted it and it forces you to take on a more expensive and higher calorie main if you aren’t a fan of the very limited selection of low calorie mains they provide. Men’s urinal completely full of urine and floor covered in urine, it looks like people have gone to the toilet on the radiator and it’s rusty on the side nearer the toilet. Seats as well as knifes and forks dirty. Many of our plates were wrong and missing items, but the staff were so rude and miserable I couldn’t bare to speak to them at the time. The waitress actually sighed when we asked to order puddings. Eventually had enough and spoke to the manager who was quite nice, but we won’t be coming back again for the rude staff and lack of hygiene alone. Food was meh, most meat came very over cooked.

We popped into The Bell during an evening stroll. A plate of cheesy, meaty Nachos and a pint or two were a perfect antidote to a long week, short days and generally miserable weather. The service is great at the Bell. The food here looks fab too. The photo doesn't do justice to our humble Nachos because we took the photo after slurping a few down. Trust me when I say that they are quite awesome. As for atmosphere, the Bell is large and airy, but plenty of nooks and crannies make it feel more intimate. I would describe it as large, yet cozy. We'll be back.

The Bell is THE place to be. Over the last 6 months, we have become regulars and are ALWAYS welcomed by the staff. Last Saturday, we treated our children and their partners to a meal and all agree...it was the best. I just have to mention and give a massive thank you to the following staff (friends): Hayden, Ross, Cecelia, Jordan, Nathan, Jack, Hannah, Megs, Rosie,Lucy and last but definitely not least...Roma, X. It's down to you as well that we keep coming back. I write this now as we eagerly await our Sirloin steaks at...yes, the Bell!

Hi everyone I am not the sort of person that complains like this but today is Wednesday, the 9th of June I’ve booked a table at 5:45 me and my family arrived on time we ordered starters and mains and we also ordered my two-year-olds dinner as soon as we arrived as he was hungry after about half an hour 40 minutes I asked about my son is dinner which they said would be right out we ordered drinks they came out an hour later at 8:00at night so over two hours after ordering and my son crying I went in and asked is the food gonna be any longer otherwise we are going to leave 10 minutes later The food was out half of the food didn’t come out my son is did thank God mine nor my wife didn’t come out till after quite awhile of asking again then I had the cheek to bring the starters out after the main I asked to speak to the manager and to be honest with you the manager was disgusted in the service we got they did not charge us whatsoever for the food which I’m being honest I would not of paid for anyway I would not return there we were not the only person complaining about the third time they were multiple people in there that just got up and walked out after us I can honestly say as a man I have never felt so gutted for my child to hear him cry for food when you are constantly asking is unbelievable and I know what some people will say that why did you not just get up and leave but when you’re being told that it’s coming right out and trying to, two-year-old down you try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but I will say the chef in there wants sacking The staff were unhelpful the only one I can say was any good was the manager’s my recommendation to anyone is not to bother I can honestly say I Have never left the restaurant more angry...

Four of us attended The Bell on Friday evening as a treat as a member of our party had secured a job. The pub itself looked lovely and inviting. We were seated quickly and our drinks order taken. These arrived and then the order for our meals were taken From here it went down hill very quickly, The starters arrived after a while - these were very nice. We then waited around 50 minutes for our main meals; two burgers, one batter halloumi and lamb shanks. However, the lamb shank did not arrive with the rest, we waited for a few minutes but still nothing. We tried to catch the eye of a member of staff but I had more chance of getting through to the doctors. Finally we managed to catch the attention of a staff member (she did try to ignore us but we called her over) and we explained that the 4th meal had failed to materialise. She went over to the bar, checked the ordering system and on her return stated that she had forget to put the lamb shank meal through. She said I can rush through another meal (this did not sound appetising at all) but we declined as the other 3 had finished their food and when we attend a restaurant we expect to eat together. She then said fine and walked away. We asked to speak to a manager as we were not at all happy and when he arrived his answer was "oh sorry its human error, and I had a member of staff upstairs crying so I have been dealing with her. You can complain to Head Office but it will only come back to me.". In other words 'don't bother'. We were not offered anything of our meal, a complimentary dessert or drink. It is unfortunate as the Pub itself is in a beautiful setting and very well set out. However we will not...
