An out of the way pub with great atmosphere, most welcoming staff and tasteful decorated interior. We liked the fact that there was NO blaring muzak that you sometimes hear in pubs, NO unnecessary TV screns spoiling the atmosphere, only space for ordinary conversations and people to be relaxed. Also, we appreciated that we had to pay cash only transactions. The food was simple yet substantial, local ales highly satisfying.
