Brooks Fish & Chips/ Brooks Pizza Bar — Restaurant in Manchester

WORST HYGIENE I HAVE EVER WITNESSED. Ordered fish chips and peas. The lady serving came from behind the till and stroked a dog another customer had with him. She then proceeded to prepare our food without having changed the dirty discoloured rubber glove that she had on and with which she had stroked the dog. When I raised this with her she stated she had washed her hands. This was a blatant lie as I watched her from the moment she stroked the dog as I was disgusted with what was taking place and was keeping a close eye on the events proceeding. Thought she should have offered to replace my food or offer a refund but she continued to lie to my face until I decided to leave as there seemed to be no recourse. Can't attest to the food quality as despite trying to order on multiple apps the owner rejects the delivery stating no drivers. This is not the case the fact is after calling to find out they simply won't make enough on the order and therefore your custom isn't worth it. Made it my problem instead of addressing the min order on the websites to avoid disappointment, instead tried to argue that my order wasn't worth it as the driver would take X amount stating "how am I supposed to make money" that's not my business if you are available to order within the radius I am ordering from you should fulfil the order....

Just bought a portion of chips and was asked if I wanted to wait for a fresh batch so I could have a regular portion. So I agreed to wait a couple more minutes until the fresh batch was ready. When I got home & opened the tray the chips were obviously not the fresh batch and looked like they been sat around for a while, they were not hot either and I only live 5 mins away. Suffice it to say they ended up in the bin. The server also had a face like a slapped wotsit! Don't seem to take pride in their work which is a shame. Won't be going again! Will stick to...
