Had a 50th birthday dinner for 15 people. On booking, requested a long table. When I arrived this hadn't been done as discussed, spoke very nicely to to the manageress and she snapped back that it would be done. Food was amazing, plus the gentleman at the carvery. The bar attendant was exceptional. She really knew what she was doing. However, once we had finished the meal and waiting for a sweet, several of the group went outside to have a drink. One member, who is 25 and was being careful with the alcohol because he was driving home. The manageress came out and told him he was under age, which he obviously wasn't. Anyway then she announced that all our table were banned from having any more drinks. Her attitude was appalling. We had a birthday cake in their kitchen, so we got the cake and went to another pub, where the service was so much better and pleasant. This is so disappointing.
