The Bramford Cock — Restaurant in Mid Suffolk

Nice little place staff here are very welcoming. Food is OK, small selection of ale and beer. Nice outdoor area and the play park will be open for the kids in the next few weeks. Nothing special. The only issue is that some times the food can take a long time to come out. (this part was 3 stars)

I did put this post up 5 months ago, The last time I went was a month ago. I was with my wife and kids and a friend and her child. The pub seemed to be annoyed that we were they made us sit outside as they had a function on, weren't allowed in the bar area even tho it was just after school, so not busy, when the function finished we went in to the warm conservatory, one stuff member started tidying up when the manager came out and said we have to go outside as there was another function staring in an hr. The 1 St staff member said there wasn't anything to the next day in the planner. So all in all we were made to not welcome at all and they did not want us to be there. We visited The Bramford Cock for Sunday lunch, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The place had a generally dirty and unkempt feel, both inside and out, which immediately set a poor tone.

The food itself was far from fresh, with everything seemingly coming straight from packaging rather than being prepared in-house. Despite this, the pricing was on par with restaurants offering freshly made, locally sourced meals, making it feel like poor value for money.

Adding to the frustration, we waited nearly an hour for our food, only to find it pretty awful when it finally arrived. Even the beer was warm and tasted stale, reinforcing the impression that attention to quality is lacking.

Perhaps most telling is the flippant attitude of the management toward reviews, which seems to reflect in how the establishment is run. Based on our experience, this pub could greatly benefit from improvements in cleanliness, food quality, and overall...

Your reason why as requested (didn't think you would want everyone seeing the reasons why, I emailed you but never had a reply) - Your staff are rude only worried about if they have a larger party in. We was told we wasn't allowed anything to eat as they had a larger party they had to sort 1st. (We didn't want anything anyway) Drinks are massively over priced £6 for a vodka and lemonade!!!! We was asked to leave as we was taking up space after being there for a hour even though the place wasn't even half full. Emailed the pub with my concerns but never had a reply.
