Best Full English Breakfast in England! I I am being serious.. Eggs cooked perfectly, bacon delicious, sausage crisp and flavourful, the tomatoes skinless and soft, the mushrooms well seasoned, and the beans were even flavourful! It’s a busy place, order at the counter and then find a seat style. Right on the water for a beautiful view and the staff is very friendly. They take cards for orders over £5, parking is gravel, toilets are clean. My only regret, I forgot to order black pudding as an extra as it doesn’t come standard so I guess it’s a 99% full english. if you find a better one let me know and I will go eat it and compare.

Without doubt the best you will get for miles around. People come from all over to eat here and you won't be disappointed. The food is amazing and the price of food is very low in comparison to establishments, the staff are amazing never stressed considering how busy the restaurant gets with people queuing out of the door. Definitely service with a smile. The picture is a small breakfast which is more than enough but for the big appetite they have the big one which I can never finish. I would definitely recommend coming here 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Came here after it being recommended to us while we were in Ipswich. A little gem of a place. A varied menu, the tea was good, the food portions generous and tasty. Definitely value for money. Seating inside and out, beautiful views across the lake. A peaceful atmosphere to eat lunch. The waitress was busy, but still had a smile and good sense of humour, excellent customer service from her. Car park is compressed gravel, but plenty of room. Will definitely have to visit again.

This place is horrendous, we went today for some breakfast, there were 4 of us, one of my children is diabetic so we went to sit down to check his blood sugar levels. Once we were sat down the cafe manager/owner shouted at us to get up and join the queue. This totally embarrassed us as everyone in the cafe turned to look at us, my diabetic so also suffers with autism so this made him very uncomfortable. The manager 'explained' to us that we couldn't sit down until we had ordered our food. Ok, so we join the queue. A minute later another couple walked in, one of them joined the queue while the other sat down. We were then told that this was fine as they were from an older generation and may need to sit down urgently, fair enough, 5 minutes later more people came in and sat down without joining the queue first, nothing was said to them, why were singled out? As we were leaving, we said to one of the staff members to say how unhappy we were with the service, that we were shouted at and belittled in front of a cafe full of people. we then left. The manager then chased us out into the car park to again shout at us that how dare we upset his staff like that!! This is unacceptable, we had 2 young children with us and they were very frightened by the whole ordeal. We used to love coming here for breakfast as a treat every now and again, but now we will never visit again and I strongly encourage anyone reading this to think twice before giving this business any of your hard...

Were meeting friends and needed sonewhere half way to meet , hadn't been here for years and never used the diner (don't think it was even there last time i came!) Read reviews and it said it can be busy, and I can see why! What a gem!! We got there just after 12 and hadnt started to get busy, lovely menu, lovely prices, lovely food, big delicious helpings of beautifully cooked food , piping hot, quick friendly service, spotlessly clean , all meals on board £9.95 , i had ham egg and chips, loads ham 2 eggs and big well cooked chips, partner had roast beef, loads of veg and home made Yorkshire, by this time the place was filling up and not just with fisherman, it is obviously very popular with local and regular customers and rightly so, partner had sticky toffee pudding and custard again lovely and hot, we sat chatting chatting and didn't feel rushed, really impressed with the are working you efficient staff and service (I work in a similar restaurant and was really impressed) well worth a visit we will definetly be...

The Waterfront Diner features Beautiful surroundings making it no surprise that it is always busy. In my experience you don't have to wait too long to be welcomed in but covid precautions are taken seriously which restricts seating options. Capacity is still generous, with indoor and outdoor seating available. Though the menu is restricted, there are choices that should please all. I personally experienced the best "small" breakfast, featuring bacon, egg, sausage, potatoes, fried toast, slices of toast and a choice of addition, I had mushrooms. Also included is a choice of tea, coffee or orange juice. When I went 2 of these meals came to £13. The portions are great and prices very reasonable, even cheap. Compared against the great quality of the food and drink, it truly is a bargain. The staff are warm and friendly, keen to help with whatever you need. Hygiene is clearly a priority and is maintained well. Overall, I would strongly recommend giving them a go. Take in delicious food and calm, picturesque...
