Duman Turkish Restaurant & Meze Bar — Restaurant in Mid Sussex

Everyone know how the life goes: we always find time to complain and rarely to praise. Even though I took a little longer (almost a week), I finally got to writing a review. We moved into a slightly bigger space and could finally have more than 4 people over for our son's birthday. It was amazing to host the wider family and friends...but then whose house is equipped to host 15 people. Buying paper plates solves only one part of the issue - how to cook for those 15 people it's a completely different story. Avoiding to cause fire to our kitchen, my husband very much welcomed the idea to order food from Duman. And as a bit of a control freak, I preferred to have it all ordered the day before. And guess what: when I got there, everything was ready. Nothing was at miss, all dishes so hot (with exception of our cold mezzo platter)...and the smell...mmmm...I needed to convince myself that others will soon arrive and I should share some of the food. But then equally, all guests were so impressed and liked the food so much. Even though I over-ordered quantity-wise, NOTHING was left. We had a fabulous meal here on Friday night. Excellent sheish chicken! So soft and tasty. Great atmosphere with lots of people just having a drink there too. Service was great. Go and give this a try....
