The Grange Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

The Grange is by far the best Indian restaurant and takeaway we have been to. We have tried quite a few over the years and none have compared to here (we have both been eating curries for 15+ years so not just from this area). To confirm just how delicious their curries are we travel all the way from Northampton just to get a takeaway from here! All the staff are friendly and welcoming and the manager is so kind and helpful. He always recognises us and makes a special effort to say hello and make sure our meals are okay - as he does with everyone in the restaurant. Every curry we have is consistently delicious and we leave feeling like we have can't wait for the next one. We have tried a few options on the menu my personal favourite is the chicken pasanda (coconuty and to die for!) and my other half enjoys the chilli tikka masala for a more spicy option and also loves the chicken madras. They are always happy to accommodate for any requests such as slightly spicier or more sauce. I honestly think no matter where we move we will continue to travel here. We cannot fault them and the lovely atmosphere created. They also have the best pickles and poppadom dips around! See...

We have been here for dinner and ordered a couple of times for delivery before and they have always been good. It was very disappointing the last time we ordered on 28 Aug. 3 curries and 3 rice for £43.70 is not exactly something cheap so we were expecting slightly better than what we received. We had wrong rice delivered meaning we were overcharged for our order. The curries were all watered down thin and rather bland. We had prawn vindaloo, chicken tikka masala and lamb baltic but everyone's curry tasted not very nice. I rang up the restaurant to request for the price difference of our wrong delivery and took the opportunity to feedback on the food quality. My housemates and I all felt that the local supermarket microwave meal would have tasted better that evening. I am unsure if the chef was away or why there was a drop in standard that evening but we were not happy. The manager rang back promising to refund our price difference and offering to make amends by giving a discount next time we come back. I am scarred now and sadly we will not be back. We also have not received the price...

Absolutely rubbish - avoid at all costs!!! Ordered a takeaway via Just Eat, advised 1hr wait for delivery..

2hrs later still no food! Called the restaurant 4 times, was told 1st time food would be there in minutes.. 10mins later phoned again, told literally outside my house, 10mins later still no food and certainly not outside my house.. phoned for the 3rd time and told the food was delivered, dont know where but not to me!! Then was hung up on by the restaurant.. that really helped my annoyance levels!!

Called a final time to be told that actually the driver was on his way.. so the 3mile journey from the restaurant to my house turned into 1hr 10mins drive.. unless my curry was coming from the curry mile in Leicester that's a bit of a p!stake. But what irked me even more was the bare faced lies we were told.. that my friend is just customer service 101 there!!

Really don't even deserve 1 star but I had to, to leave this review so you can all know about the serious ineptitude of this business!!
