Delicious lunch of brie baguettes and sandwiches for the kids. Lots of choice for vegetarians and vegans, what a breath of fresh air! Had to try the cream tea as it looked soo good and we were not let down. Delicious fresh scones and a good dollop or jam and cream. Beautiful, relaxing setting. Would love to see some soya free cakes on the menu as my lad has a milk and Soya intolerance for next time we visit the new forest, which we now have an extra reason to visit again soon šŸ˜‹

Absolutely delicious sweet cream team (fruit scone, clotted cream, jam) and savoury cream tea (cheese scone, cream cheese, tomato relish). Only let down was that due to the wind, parasols were not allowed to be raised (no problem) but they were left in the middle of the tables. Not great for a social gathering round a table with a closed parasol stuck in the middle. I suggest they should remove the parasols if it is too windy to open them. Otherwise, a lovely place to stop by.

A really lovely, rather quirky but very comfortable countryside tearoom just off the main road from New Milton into Lymington. Great cappuccinos and wonderful toasted teacakes amongst other things on offer. The tearoom is very nice but there is also a really great garden to sit in when the weather permits. Staff are also lovely and very helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

Cream tea (scone) was excellent. This consisted of a scone, cream, jam and tea or coffee for £7.50 (herbal tea not included).

Sadly the staff are not very friendly, lacking in humour is my way to describe them, slightly grumpy, you could say.

Unfortunately we had to sit inside as they have a problem with wasps (obviously not their fault) but some wasps had found their way inside and were bothering us. We managed to capture them under a glass, or two. We ordered a second round of drinks. When clearing up we informed the waitress. To our horror she lifted the glasses up and told us they were no trouble and they wouldn't sting us. We asked her to leave all the glasses where they were. She ignored us. So our additional drink was ruined because the wasps decided to bother us again.

The decor is rustic but could do with...

What a shame! It was my second visit to Braxton Gardens having enjoyed the food (plenty of gluten-free choices), ambience and gardens on a previous visit about a year ago. However, on that visit I didn't need a trip to the Ladies. On this occasion I did and oh dear! what a disappointment! The outside toilet block was not clean; and there was only one small terry towel to dry hands on (I had no idea how long it had been there and how may people had used it) and it has been years since I have visited a toilet that did not have either paper towels or a hand air dryer. It put a damper on the whole experience. An improvement in this area would mean that on my next visit it would give me great pleasure to rate this lovely...

When you go to see a garden in January you don’t have the highest expectations but if it looks this cute now then we will return in summer. We popped into the quirky little cafe to have a quick coffee but instead ordered a cream tea and a ā€˜fully loaded toastie’. I have made 1000s of scones for charities over the years but this scone was the best ever. Whether it was the sugar on top, spices or fruit I’m not sure but superb. My husband’s toastie was superb also, very spicy and fresh. We will return in the summer as would love to sit in the garden and have...
