Evening Spice — Restaurant in Newcastle-under-Lyme

I love this place and the only reason I have only given it a four on this occassion was we were booked in 9pm sitting New year's eve food and staff were great as always but the one thing which spoilt the evening was young children shouting running around which I blame the parents I cannot believe the mother let her kids run around the place as if it was a bloody playground why were these children not in bed not only did they leave a right mess on the floor which someone else could have easily slipped on but these children were very noisy and could have had a nasty accident if one of the waiters had tipped curry on them. It really spoilt our evening as we had gone there for a lovely meal and drink taking the later booking only to be sitting in what seemed to be...

This is my favourite curry restaurant (and I have sampled a lot of others!), for both the great tasting food and the outstanding, friendly service. The menu features both the usual curries and a fantastic range of special dishes including many that I have not seen elsewhere. Lovely atmosphere and brilliant with young kids too (we have taken our son here several times since he was about 3 years old). My parents live in the village and are regulars here so the staff know them by name. We make a point of visiting the restaurant nearly every time we go to visit my parents (a few times a year) and have never been disappointed; I wish we lived nearer (though that would be very bad for my waistline!)....

Wonderful. Not keen on Indian food due to the spices but love ordering from here. They cater for my boyfriend who loves really spicy food and for me. There is something which everyone will love. Their different Nan breads are smashing(I am drooling thinking about them). They use good quality meat love their Lamb Tikka dishes with extra lamb add extras like panir(fried cheese). Their starters are amazing. The problem is I order too much. Get filled up on starters so have to then have the main the next day reheated still fabulous. They are the only takeaway that delivers to us as we our out of range usually so Fantastic service and always ontime....
