I visit the seabridge fairly often and Iām always impressed with their service and food however the service I received from one young man today prompted me to write a review.
Iāve noticed a new member of staff as of late. I havenāt been able to catch his name but heās fairly young, has dark hair and is quite handsome.
I popped into today for some lunch with the wife and grandkids and was greeted with a warm welcome. This young man took our order with great speed and accuracy. The pint he poured for me was absolutely perfect it looked like something out of an advert. My wife said her gin and tonic was the perfect ratio of g to t.
We sat down and in what felt like no time at all our food was ready. When this young man bounded out of the kitchen the bugger had managed to carry five plates at the same time. My wife almost fainted when she saw it and my granddaughter simply said āwow, heās amazingā. The food was lovely, everything tasted hot and fresh and itās the first time Iāve seen the littlest finish a full plate.
Not long after we had eaten the young man had our plates cleared like he was dynamo. One second they were there and the next second they were gone. Outstanding.
We stayed for one more drink, thanked him and then left. I left with big smiles that day, smiles I hadnāt had in years. I will definitely be coming back soon.
Unfortunately I havenāt been able to catch the young manās name but in the meantime Iāll just call...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSeemed like a nice place at first, but then dinner took over an hour and a half to arrive for a party of 13, we had a reservation, but that was useless since they couldn't serve on time, made mistakes on the orders and some dishes were served near cold. The restaurant was half empty at the time, so their kitchen wasn't at 'capacity' but was instead, suffering from incompetence. Cuing at the bar, you'll notice the bar tender will serve the locals first, even if they cue after you, so if you're from out of town, don't expect a warm welcome. The warning on the washroom door about treating the bathroom with a marking agent to discourage drug use is a distinct indictment as to the kind of patrons that frequent the place and you wouldn't want to bring your kids here in the evening. Prices were fair, but losing an extra hour of your time makes it a bad value all around. The bar staff were insensitive, rude and insulting to an older lady in our group and lack any concept in customer service. I would never come back here, even for a free meal as the staff's poor customer treatment makes being there a burden to your finer sense...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went to The Seabridge last night for tea and ordered the sizzling salmon and steak meals. I also went there earlier this year and had the salmon which was awful. It just looked as though a powder had been sprinkled on the top and then baked or grilled until it was hard and dry and with no taste at all. Also at that time there were no peppers fried with the onions and when I asked for some peppers, a bowl of raw peppers were plonked in front of me. We thought we would try this pub again last night and I asked for the salmon and was disappointed again as although the peppers had been cooked the salmon again was awful. My friends steak wasn`t too good either. The pub was not busy and while we were there one table returned food and complained of dirty cutlery and another table also complained about the food and the customer said it was the worst steak he had ever had. Never again!!!! This pub is a complete...
