Mother's Day Sunday lunch Booked a table, not ready when we arrived, ended up on two small round bar tables pushed together, not ideal with children

They'd run out of two of the four starters on the menu and also run out of pigs in blankets as a side

They'd also run out of chicken as an option for Sunday roast and after we'd order I was told they'd also now run out of the veggie main Sunday lunch option, with no other alternative, so did I want Pork or Beef instead??!!

Second round of drinks we ordered never appeared

Food nice enough when it arrived but service spoiled it.

Large table across from us had an even worse time.....sides arriving as main courses were finished, no wine glasses so wine served in gin glasses, kids meals asked to be served with starters but arrived last of the mains, no chips etc etc

Pub had clearly over booked and/or under ordered food.....won't be...

Just unfortunate that when we visited for Sunday lunch, the chef had been experimenting with the gravy by adding some smoked liquid to it. It was awful and spoilt the flavour of the whole meal.
