Biffen's Kitchen | Surf-Inspired Street Food — Restaurant in North Devon

I've been waiting a year to get back to Croyde and was looking forward to finally trying Biffen's. The staff were incredibly friendly and had a great chat with them whilst ordering and waiting for the food. It was Dominican Night and the chicken curry, corn ribs and halloumi fries were all amazing. The guys also got me some of the kimchi, as I was looking forward to trying it, but will be returning home before the next Katsu Curry night. (The kimchi was certainly amazing. Perfect crunchines, and balance of tanginess and heat). Hopefully, the next time that I am Croyde, I will be able to try the katsu curry! But, if you want great and tasty food that is served by some great guys, then I certainly highly recommend coming to Biffen's Kitchen on your next Croyde visit!

Another summer has passed and now have to wait again for another year. But this past summer, when I was back in Croyde for a week, I had Biffen's Korean inspired breakfast barrel every morning of my time spent in Croyde. This was my first time trying their breakfasts and the fact that I went back each morning should be testament enough to how much I enjoyed the breakfasts. The food was consistently fantastic on each visit and Biff, Kelsey and the lady were always very friendly and open to discussions whilst waiting for the food to be prepared (which didn't take long at all) Already looking forward to Summer 2025 when I will be back again! I tell you what I CANNAE fault this place! Food vendors are so hit and miss these days but Biff honestly has it down to a T! I saw this when I was visiting Croyde and it was a Saturday, just finished the Baggy Point walk and all the pubs and restaurants were packed. Working in a food truck myself I'd rather check out Biffs business and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately on Google maps he said he was open but when I went to see him I asked for loaded hash browns and he mentioned he closed at 2pm (at this point it was 2.30pm) I told him it was okay and I'd go elsewhere but he wouldn't let me and made me hash bites with all the sauces! Places like this that don't want you to go hungry really mean something. Him and Mads have brilliant service here and are such lovely people, we had a lovely chat the view is STUNNING and it's so cute and out of the way of the busy hustle and bussel of the beaches and he even gave them to me for free 🥹🥹

Biffen’s Kitchen = Tacos that are DANGEROUSLY good!!!

Breakfast barrels that are beyond indulgent, we could easily smash one every day.

Biff’s one of those people who genuinely loves what they do. Super down to earth, always up for a chat. Someone that will go above and beyond to ensure everyone is catered for. While we don’t have any dietary requirements, overhearing Biff speak to customers and go the extra mile so people can dine out with the families and not have to restrict themselves or miss out is next level!

Between the tacos, the pinkled margs and the tunes drifting from the van, Biff’s Kitchen has just got THAT vibe!

Biff’s an all-round genuine chap. The food’s banging, the vibes are chilled, and the flavours are next level!!
