This is the first time I've dropped left a review online, and I'm sad to say it's a bad one, for a simple reason.

Sadly, what should have been a pleasant meal at a nice cafe has been completely overshadowed by a £60 parking fine. So beware, if you visit this cafe, every bit of land in the vicinity comes under the parking scheme, even the scruffy hardstanding where the boats are parked up. If I had understood this I would have paid the £2 charge, which I assumed meant for the parking area which is some distance from the cafe. So my toasties and coffee came to £18 plus £60. If I ran this business I would make sure that the visitors to your cafe understood that the parking charges apply to the whole place, not just the rather small car parking area before you get to the cafe. It can't be hard to get the lady on the counter to ask " excuse me but did you know you have to pay to park round here?"

Judging by other recent reviews, this is not a one off.

We won't be coming back. You really need to get a...

We arrived at the car park ar 1700 on 5th October a little too late for the cafe itself my husband is not very mobile by the time we parked as near to the cafe as possible and walked there only to find it closed then walked back which for my husband is very slow although no longer than 24 minutes initial parking company have sent me a parking charge of £100 or if payment within 28 days £60 I tried to explain about my husband but the charge stands. My one star is more for them and has put us off ever returning and I will also be telling everyone to avoid the place which is a shame. Shame on you initial parking only one appeal and if no payment threat of bailiffs. I will pay under protest. But everyone...

A cracking little, unusual café in a great location. We were lucky to visit on a wonderfully sunny day in September. The place was busy and this does mean you might have to wait a bit for food and drink, but this is not a criticism! When you order you can see how compact the gallery is and how efficient the team are in using the space.

We had a breakfast and sat around long enough to then fancy a cream tea. Two hours just flew by.

You can pay for parking at the harbour here too - £1.50 for two hours.

When you order food or drinks, that give you a little plaque with an animal's name on it. When thhey bring the order out they look for it can out the name, nicer...

Such a lovely tea-boat, quaint and quirky in a stunning location. Service is always spot on and friendly, they couldn't be more helpful and lovely. Food is delicious, I've never been disappointed whether it's a breakfast bap or a tuna sandwich, always fresh and tasty. Love it. It is accessed via Watermouth Cove, head to the harbour where you will find plenty of parking. Parking is cash or card but you will need to know your reg number. The view of this pretty little harbour Cove is beautiful and there is a walk over the headland or up over the coast path. All opposite Watermouth Castle.
