We stopped at The Beach Café in Croyde a couple of times while on holiday. The coffee was nice and easy to order, though it did take a little while to come out.
We also visited on Burger Night (Tuesday) and the food was really good. The burgers were tasty, and the kids enjoyed their sausage and chips. Portions were generous, and everyone left full.

The cafe\food hut there looked rather hectic but the queue seemed to be moving quickly so we waited. I'm glad we did! The staff there were lovely, so helpful and nothing was too much trouble (we have a very fussy 4 y\o). The food, drinks and ice cream were amazing and thoroughly appreciated and we will most definitely be returning! Highly...
