⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stopped at The Beach Café in Croyde a couple of times while on holiday. The coffee was nice and easy to order, though it did take a little while to come out.

We also visited on Burger Night (Tuesday) and the food was really good. The burgers were tasty, and the kids enjoyed their sausage and chips. Portions were generous, and everyone left full.

One thing to note is that there’s no indoor seating, so you need to be prepared to sit outside in all weathers or take your food away. Also, it is on the pricier side — our four meals, three soft drinks, and one beer came to £70, which felt expensive.

That said, the food and coffee were good, and it’s a convenient spot right...

The beach cafe and sunset bar is our favourite place to eat in Croyde on a sunny day. The views of the surf at Downend are the best in the village, and the vibes are great as you have a lovely mix of local surfers and visitors to the area enjoying the views together over a tasty meal. They have great coffees and breakfast items to fuel an early morning surf session, and we’re also huge fans of their authentic Sri Lankan curries in the evenings. We recently had their spicy lamb curry and chicken curry, and couldn’t decide which one we liked better! Downend itself has a surf school, surf hire and shops which helps the place feel like a real community. Definitely...

Arriving for a short stay in Croyde, North Devon, we were greeted with a bustling carpark situated right by the beach. With restless and bored kids in the car we decided we'd stop here before heading to the accommodation. It was really busy and we wanted to get a bite to eat and have a quick walk down to the bay. The cafe\food hut there looked rather hectic but the queue seemed to be moving quickly so we waited. I'm glad we did! The staff there were lovely, so helpful and nothing was too much trouble (we have a very fussy 4 y\o). The food, drinks and ice cream were amazing and thoroughly appreciated and we will most definitely be returning! Highly...

During my holiday to Croyde, me and my family had takeaway Scones with jam and cream, as well as a pasty later in the day. They were all absolutely delicious! Some of the best scones we’ve ever had and well priced too. The pasty’s were gorgeous, filling and a great selection of flavours too, including their signature Sri Lankan Cauliflower and Chick Pea pasty. We also had a portion of fries which was a huge portion for its price too. Would love to go back!
