The Bent Peg — Restaurant in North Devon

Having a place for a great Sunday roast from between midday and 7pm in rural North Devon is fabulous. The `Bent Peg is situated on a touring park and campsite yet the bar and eating area is closer to a traditional pub in terms of atmosphere and layout. The bar has a large range of spirits and the prices are very competitive, I challenged the bill on the cost of a round of drinks for 9 as it seemed too cheap yet it was correct! The Sunday roast was very good and lots of it, they bring you extra potatoes, veg & jugs of gravy if you need more. You can opt for 2 or 3 courses that are fairly priced with a choice for 4-5 options or just have the single course plated roast, this is not a carvery thankfully! We came here on a whim last night as my husband had a job in the area. Hands down, the best Sunday roast we've ever eaten out! The food was DELICIOUS and the vegetables and ingredients fresh and tasty. A real home cooked roast. Our 5 year old loved his dinner too. Staff were attentive and friendly.
