The Vine shows tremendous potential to become a top choice for meals at any time of the day—whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The menu is enticing, offering a diverse array of options sure to appeal to varied palates. The atmosphere adds another layer of attraction, radiating a chic, Instagram-worthy vibe that enriches the dining experience.

Upon our arrival, we received a warm welcome from the owner, whose friendliness and attentive service enhanced our visit. Their dedication truly enriched our experience.

We opted for the full English breakfast, which was impressive, served hot, and beautifully presented, delighting the taste buds. A particular highlight was the bacon—cooked to perfection, rich in flavor, and utterly divine.

The following observations are not meant as criticism but as constructive feedback:

The menu lists "eggs," but only one egg was served. The sausages, although tasty, seemed to be standard ones available from local supermarkets. Additionally, it might be preferable if the "vine-tomatoes" were served whole as suggested, rather than chopped up, although they were full of flavour.

Considering the slightly premium pricing, I would have been nice to see some local produce or even mentions of a local butcher or farm shop as sources for your ingredients.

Gluten free carvery 🤗 We were on a weekend birthday getaway nearby, about a month ago. We were searching for a carvery and found this place by mere chance, while driving around. Omg, we had the most amazing carvery ever! 😋 Definitely a 5⭐️ carvery! I am still dreaming about it now lol. Shame it is so far away (2½-3 hours by car), I'd be a regular customer. They had gluten free options too and also you could double your meat portion! We couldn't finish it all, they were happy to box up the leftovers for us to take home. My friend managed to get a table here for Easter Sunday lunch. Loved the atmosphere in the ‘cabin’, the tables were full but we were well looked after and felt relaxed. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. The food was delicious. We both chose roast beef, beautifully served with the meat, potatoes, parsnips, carrots arranged under the Yorkshire pudding. There was a separate dish of red cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower cheese. I also added horseradish sauce. The portions were very generous. Too full to try the desserts but the Americano coffee was very good. Will go back next time...
