Drove in to a great size car park which is on two levels, a really warm welcoming entrance, we were met by a wonderful warm and friendly staff member and shown to our table which was tucked away in the snug, staff were very quick to take our drinks order and I’ve got to say the drinks menu was very extensive and the staff member taking the drinks order was very knowledgeable on what drinks were available, the food was ordered which included starters and main courses, the food arrived in good time we weren’t disappointed it, the quality, temperature, amount was fantastic, the staff were always on hand to make sure we were happy, the deserts were ordered and again the quality was fantastic, I would highly recommend visiting the White Horse at Woolley Moor, but make sure you book as it does...

Stayed here for three days. We booked a room which would be classed as a suite in any other establishment. Huge comfy bed, sitting area with sofa, armchair, T.V. Small kitchen and dining area. En- suite the size of a small bedroom with two basins, bath, separate large walk in shower and loo. Absolutely immaculate with excellent quality furnishings and bed linen. It is the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. The views from the large panoramic windows are beautiful and there is a small, private terrace to sit on. Lovely at the end of a day exploring the surrounding area - Haddon Hall and Chatsworth are within easy travelling distance. The restaurant serves excellent local food and the staff and owners were extremely efficient, attentive and very friendly. HIGHLY...

Review of the pub only see entry for the view at Woolley Moor for the hotel review This pub acts as reception for the view at Woolley Moor and is also where you can have dinner. Breakfast the following morning was included in our room rate and was simply brilliant. The menuu for lunch and dinner is very good, the food and service are simply first rate. We had :- Tomato and mozzarella tortellini and crab bruschetta both nicely presented and tasty Mains Hake amd parmentier potatoes and steak with chips peas and onion rings the later was fantastic, although the parmentier were burnt, having been left cooking too long. The fish was perfectly cooked. Deserts Mango bavarois _ stunning and the yorkkshire rhubarb panacotta brilliant
