I travel all over the UK on business, my preference is always to drop into a Indian restaurant, called in here tonight with the family, they seated us despite being very busy and quickly served us drinks and starters. We didn't have to wait long for the mains to be ready despite the large party ahead of us. I can hand on heart say its one of the best Indian meals I have eaten. I've not seen the garlic and chilli chutney anywhere else previously and it's fantastic. The Saag Paneer is the best one I have eaten. All of our food was beautifully cooked. We have booked into the buffet next weekend to try other dishes, cant wait to return.

What an absolutely amazing dining experience. This was our first time visiting The Agra but it won't be our last. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious, special mention for the Onion Raitha, really enjoyed it. The skinny Chicken Korma was perfection. The service was fast, the food hot. Thank you to Abdul who looked after us and the rest of the team

Tasty Indian food in Sleaford that I’d recommend if you’re in the area. I’d like to come back once the Matka Kulfi is available to try that dessert, although I enjoyed the Coconut Supreme very much. Another favourite was the onion bhaji on the mixed platter, which I’ll order on its own the next time I dine here.

We had pre-booked a table for 6 on a Saturday night, we waited 40mins at the bar to be seated. When we were finally seated our drinks order was taken quickly but we waited over 20mins for our food order to be taken.

Pops and chutney tray were nice and came out quickly, no complaints about the other starters.

My main a Chicken Tikka Shishlik was very bland and boring despite it being a higher priced item. I tried someone else's vindaloo to get some spice, it was nicer but certainly wasn't hot enough to be a vindaloo. The pilau rice just seemed to be boiled rice with tumeric for colour, it wasn't fragrant and had no flavour. The Naans were undercooked and stodgy.

The restaurant acknowledged the delays by providing one free naan for a table of six, this was left uneaten because they weren't particularly good.

While we were eating a table next to us received a customer provided birthday cake with the staff singing happy birthday which was nice until the realisation was made that they delivered the cake to the wrong table spoiling the surprise for the actual birthday table who were still on their starters.

When the plates were cleared we requested the bill, this was not provided which meant another ten minutes at the bar waiting for it after waiting ten mins at the table despite it being the end of the night and very quiet by this point.

To top it all off the food gave me the runs and I've been ill for the 12 hours overnight because of it.

I'd avoid and...

Visited Agra whilst down on a Break from London, we always like to have an Indian Meal Out , and We was not Disappointed. The Restaurant is So Inviting Inside and Out , Large and Spacious with the Attention to being Covid Safe the Best we have Seen , well Done to them. As for the Food it was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING, So Fresh and Tasty best We have had for Years by FAR !!! If you Love Lamb as We Do then I dont think you Would have tasted anything as Good as theirs.... we had their Chefs Recommended indian Platter Starter which consisted of Large Chunks of Lamb and Chicken with a Somosa and Onion Bhaji on A Skewer ..it was like having the Best Tender Roast Lamb you are Likely to have tasted but flavoured in Subtle Indian Spices and Chicken Tikka that was also So Delicious and Tender..the Lamb was just so Nice We had to send our Compliments to the Chef . Our Main Course Dishes including a King Prawn Dish were also so Lovely and the Naan Breads so Fluffy and Gorgeous. The Staff were So Friendly too😀 We only Wished this Restaurant was Near to where we Lived and we just think how Lucky the People of Sleaford are to have it !!!!

SO THANKYOU to all the Staff at the Agra Especially The Top...

Disappointing to say the least. Everything was stone cold so I had to reheat. The mushroom rice had zero flavour, the cheese and garlic naan was tough as old boots, the sag paneer was tasty, the pashwari naan tasted great in the middle but there was so little coconut etc and so much bread that it could hardly be described as peshwari naan. The chicken tikka was ok but mainly because of the strange green sauce (no idea what it was but it tasted pretty good) but the tiny and frankly sorry looking plastic bag of salad was so soggy and looked like it was two days old that it instantly went in the bin. We had so been looking forward to ordering after all the great reviews but it really wasn’t great at all. I’m now curious as to whether we caught a bad night or it really is all hype and no substance. Possibly the most disappointing take out ever. Very bland, lukewarm at best and just overall not great. Sorry but it’s a no from me and, I hate to say it but I’ve had better from the...
