Amazing food ! Just moved to this area recently ,having lived in Bradford for 25 years . Bradford has got some really nice Indian restaurants , but this one can match anyone of them for value ,taste, and definitely presentation . The flavours and quality of the food in my opinion is 2nd to none . The price is also very very reasonable ,if not too cheap ,and the staff are really friendly ,polite ,and will answer any queries with courtesy . The owner ( I can not remember is name ) is such a lovely gentlemen so polite ,and I wish him every success in is business ,because of the quality product he is offering ( thank you) we are so glad we found this restaurant ,and look forward to returning many times over . Oops I wanted to up load other photos ,but I was having problems uploading !

This place really was impressive. A very nice man offered to take me after he heard there were new owners. The first impressions were excellent. The blue, the lights, the staff everywhere all lovely. One with a turban, some ladies, all helpful. We hadn’t booked and I noticed we were more dressed up than everyone else. It was busy. The food was served promptly- the poppadoms were the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty in my life. The starter was lush, the paneer. And then I had the fish for main course what with it being lent and Friday. My partner had the same. The courses were presented immaculately and the thing about the fish is it was different with every mouthful. Highly impressed. Must go back there.

The Staff are always very friendly & helpful, providing a great service. We had a table for six & my dog Lenny. It was my second time at the Maharaaj (& Lenny’s). Starter of popadoms & the dips etc, I thoroughly enjoyed the onion bhaji, followed by the Tandoori chicken Tikka, & jeera rice (with cumin), lots of dishes were enjoyed by all, everyone was very happy with their meals. Highly recommend! They made Lenny very welcome & provided him with a bowl of water, & even came over through the evening to check he was ok, really sweet.

Well where shall i start? I’ve been to alot of Indian places before but this fine establishment ticks the top of the list without a doubt. From the minute i stepped foot inside i was greeted with warm welcomes from the very handsome young man who i believe is the new owner. I was brought to my seat and sat down handed a elegant menu in hand and offered drinks to which i very much obliged. As i dont drink alcohol i was very delighted they offered alcohol free beverages aswell much to my satisfaction.

The starters came out piping hot, I ordered a chicken puree and bite after bite the flavours were bouncing around in my mouth. For mains i opted for a classic chicken tikka jalefrezi as i like to keep it fairly simple. Long story short, the best jalfrezi i have ever had

Overall my experience at Maharaj is one to remember and i wish nothing but success for the business and i cannot wait to return for more...

I would give no stars on the food if I could. We are currently on a weekend break and decided to try this take away and it was the worst Indian (korma and pilau rice) I have ever tasted I couldn't eat any of it, it was absolutely horrible the only thing that was nice was the poppadom. The portion size was even worse for how much they charge for the food. The food was around 30 mins late and I will give them credit for actually chasing the driver and telling him to hurry up and deliver the food something a take away has never done, staff also very friendly and polite on the phone too but the food is horrible. I have had better Kormas from the frozen section in Asda. Given the reviews I was looking...
