Had a booking for 10 people today for Sunday roasts so they were expecting us. Bar staff friendly getting drinks but thats where it went downhill rapidly. Starters came after a long wait, mismatched portion sizes of prawn cocktails, had to ask for butter and lemon wedge. No butter with pate either. Mains took over an hour and came with raw, lukewarm veg. Some plates missing carrots, some broccoli, some Yorkshire pudding (which were flat and greasy) very watery greasy gravy and extremely small portions. Half my Lamb was fat and inedible as was all the raw veg. The raw, water logged cauliflower cheese turned up well after we had raised our concerns. The staff looked embarrassed at the state of the food leaving the kitchen and we left having only paid for the starters but everyone had to seek food elsewhere enroute home.
