We were tired and it was late'ish to come in for dinner but the lovely barman said we were ok as only 2 of us. We were politely told that to sit with our dog we should go down to the end of the bar which was actually the warmest place right beside a radiator. The food came quickly and was just what we needed. Unfortunately, we had already ordered when we realised that they only took cash ... but when we told the barman we didn't have enough cash with us but were staying in the village and could return to pay the balance the next day he said no worries it happens a lot so just give me your name and address and then pop the payment in when it's convenient. Read moreThe moment you step into the pub you would not expect the interior design based of off what you see on the outside. It is a pub with its own character. It has different couches and different tables and chairs spread along the pub. Books to read from, a tv, pencils and paper for the kids to use, and board games to play. Personally I haven't eaten the food since I just stopped by to have a pint and charge my phone which the staff kindly allowed me to do.
