Brief review -

Chips - soggy mushy mess, yuk

Pizza - bland and tasteless, yuk

Hygiene - not for the chap behind the counter! He "messed" with his nose then proceeded to touch raw food items. He used his bare hands to moved uncooked prepared pizzas after doing other tasks within the shop no sign of his hands being washed at any point. Unacceptable

Prices - higher than most places I have used in various areas across the country. Exaggerated by the poor quality of product being sold.

Queueing - not if you obviously know people behind the counter, you just nip to the back door and get served in front of everyone.

Tax payers - (this is not an accusation merely an observation) maybe tax dodging as the note on the counter requests "cash as a preferred method of payment"

I certainly would never use this...

I'm not normally prone to giving one star however I'll make an exception here. If you have ever had really good fish and chips elsewhere, you know this can only be described as average on a good day. The chips are regularly soggy, I've never had a good crisp yet fluffy chip in all the years of visiting. Many of the staff are friendly enough but the guy (who I suspect may be an owner) is equally rude to his staff and...

This place used to be great. Now it's just over priced, over cooked chips with terrible service. Literally waited for 5 minutes while the 3 staff all served the only other person in there while they chatted like old friends, I felt invisible. When I eventually got served it was rude and unfriendly. The service was so bad I just got a small cone of chips for my daughter and we went to spend the rest our money...
