The Weavers Arms Fillongley — Restaurant in North Warwickshire

We arrived at 2.15 and we're told that they had stopped serving lunch. They then decided they would serve us. I was asked if I would like gravy with my vegetables but when the food arrived there were no vegetables. I did say that I didn't want peas but there was nothing else. It was supposed to be a cottage pie but it was just mashed potato on top of mince. It wasn't even browned. We were told that as we were given larger portions ( which we didn't ask for and weren't consulted about ) it would be full price. The total bill was 22.90 for two coffees and 2 lunches. Went for Sunday dinner on 21st August 2022 ; only £10.50p for two courses. I had breaded button mushrooms for starters, delicious. Good service ; good beer ; good prices ; quality food. I will definitely go again. Large car park ; large beer garden as well. Yorkshire pudding, slightly over cooked, rest was delicious. Recommend you go. Went again Sunday 11/9/22. Was not impressed waited 1 hour for the meal. First the lad gave us the Sunday menu . We went Saturday. No one else was eating inside . We were the only ones. The meals are basic . Menu is very basic not much choice. Ie steak etc . I ordered what I thought was roast chicken chips curry sauce in a basket. What I got was 2 chicken strips with chips curry.
