Good parking, nice food, good service.... For my 'persona'l taste it was a bit harsh with the lighting and because there wasn't a carpet it echoed & you could hear every step as people walked around. Dare I say it felt like I was sat in a nice village hall.... The menu was good, covering most peoples taste, not cheap but not expensive either, the staff were attentive and friendly without being overwhelming. The food was well cooked, well presented, most importantly it was hot. Will I return?..... Yes for a family meal or with friends but maybe not for a date night with my wife.

A great find. Looks like a proper community pub that caters for the whole family. Check out the pens with chickens, guinea fowl and ducks. We hadn't booked, but still found a table. From start to finish, the staff were brilliant; helpful, efficient, friendly and the food they brought us was ridiculously tasty. The menu forces us to go back one day soon, there is such a choice (even kebabs) and we know we'll be in good hands in a place with a nice atmosphere and big ticks for beer, food, servers and price. Well done, you've nailed it.

We went on a Saturday night, busy, but good atmosphere and could not complain about the service. Really warm, inviting and friendly. Menu is one of the best, something for everyone, and a fab selection for vegans. I actually couldn't decide as there were so many dishes I fancied. Great place. We will be back soon. Thank you

Went for a family sunday dinner. We booked well in advance. To get to the table you have to walk through the main bar which was full of football fans shouting at the tv. Not a great welcome. Place was decorated lovely and the table was away from the busy bar. We all ordered, most of us a roast dinner and was then informed there was no chicken, belly of pork or beef so the only option was leg of lamb so we went for that. Waitress then came back to say there wasn't enough lamb so one of us had to compromise. The dinner arrived there was one small bowl of cauli cheese between 6 of us and was charged for an extra bowl £3.50. The dinner was small veg also came in little bowls and we ordered extra. The lamb was not was was on the menu. There was no leg and you got a coupke of slices of lamb. Waitress really tried her best but I felt she was very embarrassed. We ordered dessert, most of us cheesecake. Waitress returned to say only 1 cheesecake left. Why does this pub have no food? They knew we were coming well in advance. Food was nice not enough of it for the price. Staff were great...

Popped in for an evening meal. Nice, inviting looking place from the outside just on a corner of the main road A512. Plenty of parking spaces available.

Cozy inside and nice bright fresh looking bar area. Various sizes of tables to choose from, some separated by walls with a cozy feel, some sofas, some bar stools and a TV on the wall so you can expect occasional sports nights.

Ordered the Hunters Chicken. Came with tasty homemade chunky chips and peas. The whole meal was cooked well. Nice crispy bacon, perfectly baked chicken, tasty sauce and a nice amount of cheese topping and a good sized meal.

Service was very good. Polite and friendly.

Overall a good and...

Went for a Sunday roast as family had been before and gave glowing review. Unfortunately this visit wasn’t as favourable. 5 of us had a roast meal, two of which were large 2 roast meals. We were given 2 small bowls of veg and one bowl of cauliflower cheese between the 5 of us. When asked how the cauliflower cheese is supposed to be portioned for 5 we were told we are given one bowl free, no matter how many people are ordering and any additional have to be charged for. This is not stated on the menu, so to ensure you all have sufficient, make sure you all order separately- by their logic you should then have plenty of...
