Visited here today for the first time. The restaurant is set with lovely views and nearby walks to go on. With the outside seating area looking nice in the sunshine. We ordered food, wasn't advised that there would be a half hour wait for our food to come. The food was nice enough, but relatively expensive. The staff were pleasant enough and everywhere was kept clean. I just feel like the place is trying to be too many things. It's a restaurant that charges a bit more for food and drink, it's family friendly - with a kids play area and it's dog friendly. So I'd imagine it will get really busy during peak summer months.

I had my baby shower here and everything was great from start to finish. On the run up to the day all my questions were answered straight away and nothing was too much trouble. On the day all my guests said how delicious the food was! I had the most amazing day! Thank you for everything.

Now my fav place to come to eat and drink and bring our dog . Food is lovely & always clean with plenty of space to sit in or out . Weather permitting .. there is some incredible walks and close to the furnace & canal .

Absolutely joke of a place, management that were on tonight (Friday 8th July 2022) couldn't run a bath!!! None of the staff have a clue what they are doing, zero communication with the kitchen staff, over charged us and reluctant to give money back, ordered kids food as soon as we walked in, planned on ordering for ourselves but after waiting over an hour for chicken nuggets, chips, beans and a kids chicken wrap, coupled with the fact that staff had no idea where any menu's were or if there was anything else available other than pizza or a burger, we decided against ordering!!! This used to be a great place with great food. Very disappointed especially when we tried to support them during COVID by ordering for takeaway.....(back when they had a decent menu!!!!) Absolute...

I went there with my husband and aunt, we are elderly and and not always easy to please. We were a little surprised to see that it looked more like a cafƩ and just suitable for children. We were very surprised to have freshly cooked delicious meals. The children and parents disappeared to play somewhere else. The staff were excellent, especially Kelly, who helped us to move outside into the sun. Nothing was too much trouble, Kelly explained that if the weather is not nice there is an o/18's lounge that we could use. She also refused to take a tip , saying she hoped we would call again and to leave a review. What a lovely lunch it was, we shall go again but not in...
