Cafe Rose — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Came here with my wife for a Saturday Brunch on 12.3.2022. Our experience was great on all fronts. Absolutely superb. First-rate throughout.

Food is straightforward, unpretentious, and done well. My wife had a full breakfast and I had a burger. Both were just what we were looking for. This place isn't particularly inventive or creative. It's just doing the basics well and if I were staying in the area for longer I'd happily come back and work my way through the rest of their menu.

It's also very reasonably priced. To be honest, I'd happily have paid double for what we had. No chance you guys would like to come set up closer to where I live?

Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The vibe there is relaxed and casual, but it's clear that there's a real pride from these guys in what they do and a good attention to detail in everything. Don't let the casual vibe make you think that there's anything that's less than immaculate about the crockery, the service, or the food. All of it is absolutely on point.

Nearly £9 for the smallest fry in my life ( All day breakfast on menu ) Disappointed as It was a good while since my last visit and was looking forward to a good lunch again. TBH you only get a 1/4 piece of soda & potato bread ( small fry size ) I thought they made a mistake and asked but was told this is what you get. Food was good and no complaints anywhere else but come on owner give proper portions for the price you charge...

One of the worst experiences I have ever encountered in Ireland. Parked outside and went in with a view to a lunch meal. Others came and got served, then got their food. We sat for over fifteen minutes with staff members passing regularly and totally ignoring us... Not even courteous enough to bring a menu while we waited.. got up and walked out to find somewhere...
