Parked in the carpark of Hunters bar and grill and came into where u eat via the beer garden. Made our way to the bar and asked could we order a bite to eat, was handed 2 menus so we sat ourselves, 2 mins later we were asked to move to up by the bar ( the whole place was empty except a table of 4 at the back) no idea why we were asked to move bit bizarre. Tables are sticky and floor was covered in bits of food. We ordered the buster burger and a chicken goujons burger with garlic potatoes and tobacco onions. Burgers sayon menu brioche buns, none of them and my burger was meant to have bacon on it, there was none of that either, food was OK, garlic potatoes was lovely only they forgot to add the garlic just got butter! The lady who made the meals was lovely came out for a wee chat with us. Reasonably priced but whole place needs a re vamp

It was one of the worst experiences in my life. Myself and my friends were sat at the table and offered drinks from a member of staff. After a while we were informed, that there is not enaugh staff on today and we wont be served any food...How very dissapointing. There was no note at the entrance to the restaurant saying that the food is not being served...And what is the point keeping the restaurant opened anyway with no food or staff in it...Well one thing is sure, we will never come back there again.

Stumbled on this place as we were driving to our final stop for the day, decided to stop and eat. Wasn’t busy at all, just the two of us and a few locals that were so nice and chatted with us. The chicken tenders were so good, I was not expecting that for a bar because I’m used to America. And tried a shot of Dead Man’s Fingers, so yummy and I wish I could get that back in the US!

The Hunters bar is a worthy place to visit if you happy to be travel across the coast road. With the food being inexpensive and décor of the restaurant being inspired by traditional Irish pubs. The drink is what you would expect with an establishment this, with single shots costing at £2.50 and a standard WKD at £3. Floors can tend to be sticky with drink but this is not a major issue when walking about the restaurant. For some traveling the coast road, it may be worth it to make the diverging path...
