Jacobean Coffee House — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Once I finally entered the establishment I felt a weird aura about, now as a man of colour this does not surprise me but what did surprise me was the sheer lack of service towards me my wife and little girl. even when I put my self out there to be served they simply walked straight by me and to the back of the café. More than a couple times I even caught some of the staff looking at me and sniggering at each other, now feeling disrespected and wife upset I spoke up to the manager having a simple few words to try to figure out what was going on... after a short conversation the only things that popped out was the words " we don't serve your type of people" once these words were said it all was made clear to me now and being the father figure and a good husband I didn't stay to make a scene, although I feel like I shouldn't hold back on letting others know what the staff of this cruel establishment has hidden between its racist walls. Had a BLT and fries to share but I am honestly sorry for asking the person who served us to walk all the way across the cafe to take our order and then bring the food and drink we ordered. She did seem most upset that we had decided to sit in her cafe.

The food was actually quite good but the coffee I had was not good. All served on plates with big chips out of them.

the lady’s working we’re absolutely lovely, i didn’t know it was cash only and they waited for thirty minutes for my daughter to run to an atm to get cash.
