We came across this place by looking on Google after a walk the pictures look great, Not anymore. We first had a drink here on the 28th May 23. We were met by a female behind the bar with no customer service whatsoever, no hello, no smile & no conversation nothing. We then by accident ended up her again after getting lost and in need of food on the 5th June 23 so we reluctantly went in. This time the lady behind the bar was very welcoming and bubbly. We sat outside my husband sat on a chair which broke, he told the young man and he said people stand on them to turn the heaters on, this was the 2nd chair which was broke. Managed to find another chair. The table was sticky, we asked for it to be cleaned which it was with cold water and no detergent, hence it was still sticky. We had drinks and my husband's glass was dirty. Both had the Beef Guinness pie, peas and carrots, both veggies were cold, I'd ordered champ when the young man served it, his thumb was holding the bowl with his thumb in the champ. I didn't eat that side of the champ. Lots of photos behind the bar referring to an awards celebration. Not sure how long ago this was I can honestly say it won't be winning again. The place looks unloved and needs some TLC. We...

The food was very good. The atmosphere is very fun and lively. They were a little bit slow in serving us but it was because they were packed and they kindly squeezed us in. We had a problem or two with the order and the manager came right over and helped solve it, though we didn't ask for her. Two of us had burgers and they were both excellent. The bun was a little dry but the smoked bacon and smoked cheese burger was very good. The soup of the day was "broccoli and cauliflower" so my wife expected a cream based soup. Instead it was more of a vegetable soup also with carrots and celery, though it was still tasty. The salmon was good. For an Irish pub restaurant, in a small town I highly recommend. It was a good way to finish off our...

Not even 1 🌟. Visited on 20/01 Prawns curry is nothing like on the pic, not even handful smallest frozen prawns thrown together with couple of peas in a chippshop curry sauce. Guinness pie reheated from frozen, burger was like a rock, chip overcooked so much that you can not even fork them, the choice of veggies was only carrots, peas or mushrooms, ferrero Roche cheese cake is actually a choco powder cheese cake with ferrero Roche sweet on the top, coffee is poor quality and cold. Very disappointed. We went with friends (big company) and only their company and respect for them kept us from sending food back and complaining. Don't waste your time and money - lots other places around with great food...and...

A melted pen was found in our food. A melted pen. It fell out of my sister’s chip bowl after eating our food. It made us feel so sick afterwards. The thought of a pen cooking WITH our food. So toxic. The food should have been taken away from other customers after the gross cross contamination. I also had lipstick on my glass. I felt disgusted with how unapologetic the manager was. They said “sure, we replaced the glass” and “we took the price off for your meal” (regarding the melted pen). They were so unsympathetic and downright rude with how they dealt with the situation AND still charged us for the contaminated food. I will warn everyone about this place. So so disgusting.

FOUND A MELTED PEN IN MY FOOD & LIP STICK ON MY GLASS. I am disgusted. Found it just as I finished under my chips. When I asked to speak to the manager, she came to us and said “did you want me” .. found this abit rude before.. so I told her what was wrong and she said “sure didn’t you get the glass changed” when I mentioned about the MELTED PEN, she said sure I took the order off your bill.. not even an apology. I didn’t know what else to say I just had to walk off. She was very unapologetic and seemed like couldn’t not care less. Defo won’t be back and 100% don’t recommend!!!!
