Visited here at the end of Sept 2025. Had 2 good nights in the bar. The friday night we had food first which we had ordered ahead and it was ready, bang on time for us getting of the ferry. Food was very tasty, great portion size. We sat in the cafe part of the bar with a view over the bay. Sat on for drinks afterwards in the bar. Pool table available also. Saturday night was busier as a local island resident celebrated his 30th birthday. Happy Birthday Conor! Great craic and great music. Staff were lovely.

Stopped for a snack unfortunately they are refurbishing, and there was also a power cut. As the main season is at an end there are not many customers. The staff managed to sort out drinks and sandwiches for us. On returning later when the power was on, we got a nice burger and chip dish. Seems this could be a busy place in the main tourist season and when the work is finished.

The bar and only bar in the island, a place you must go where you can drink cheep beers (5pound a pint) and good food ! The locals are i.credible generous, if you need any kind of help there will be here for you. I've spent one of my best nights in northen island speaking and drinking with everyone !

The bar staff were very friendly and helpful, I am always surprised with how friendly the Irish people are in general. The food was good - the hamburger was DELICIOUS, chicken tenders or “goujons” were good and the serving of fries or “chips” was generous. The fish and chips was a little soggy but still good.

The place closes for food “early” for someone used to American restaurants serving until midnight (as does the rest of Ireland), so make sure and order well before 8pm. The bar seating was very limited, and could use a good degreasing as the tables were a sticky. However, it was very safe, with young kids playing and relaxing after their...

Started coming to rathlin island with my dad and his friend 27 years ago camping and fishing. I am now 33 and I bring my family now and as it's always been the bar is a big part of it. Not always for a drink but it's the heart of the island and the best place to meet anyone who lives on or is just visiting the island. The atmosphere is warm and like no other bar I've visited. The staff are easy going, helpful and very welcoming. I fell in love with the island as a kid and now so has my family and all because if the islanders and people who we've met in the bar and the outstanding views from it...
