Excellent food service atmosphere & surroundings .
i was out with the wife on a rare hot weather day (rare for northern Ireland) & looking for somewhere to stop off for refreshments, a coffee & a cake , where we could sit outside.
The wife had a quick Google & found mill farm so we headed there , once arrived we were seated and handed menus , the wife said "shall we get lunch , then we don't need to cook at home" .
So we ordered coffees (caramel late & a cappuccino) and a burger & chips each ..... coffee arrived within a couple of minutes, very nice 👌 The food arrived shortly after .
What can I say ? THE BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD !!!!!!! Im an ex chef & am very critical of food , but this was the best tasting meat I've ever had in a burger , better taste than lots of steaks I've eaten. Coupled with superb crispy chips.... they were excellent.
So given how good the main was we had to have dessert..... and milkshakes 😀.
Wife had chocolate orange , I had lemon meringue pie ... we both had vanilla milkshake , everything was lovely 100%
Best Food I've eaten in the 10 years I've lived in northern Ireland & best burger in 45 years of life.
I cannot recommend enough excellent food excellent customer service from the friendly polite staff

Read moreWe dropped in for a spot of lunch after a recommendation from friends. My wife had a toffee apple scone and a coffee. I went for the manly option and had burger and chips. The speed of service was excellent and was matched by the quality of the grub. The burger came as described, bacon, cheese, burger, bun. No nonsense vegetation or peripherals and it was all the better for that. Absolutely top quality. The chips were chunky and crispy with no hint as to how they had been cooked. My wifes scone was delicious. One minor observation, clotted cream would have lifted the rating up to 5 stars. Still, you can't be perfect. This is a first class eating house. Read moreGenuinely delightful and well worth a visit. Really lovely, helpful staff serving actually great home made food in generous portions. The vegetable broth was freshly made and tasty, the pulled pork loaded chips was well balanced, yummy and huge - two could split it as a light meal - and you don't want to be full so you've room for pudding. The chocolate orange cake was light, full of flavour and served with warm chocolate sauce - I really wasn't expecting this to be so good. The lemon meringue pie had a crisp buttery base and a great stack of fluffy meringue over the lemon curd. Best motorway cafe I've been to in forever. Strongly recommend...
