What an absolute waste of £20! I cannot express how disappointed I am with the dismal excuse for food at this place. The cheesy sandwich was desperate, literally grated cheese and white sliced chicken, frozen and reheated. As for the healthy bowl, the lack of any flavor was a total disappointment. It's undoubtedly the worst food I've had in a long time, but I was more disgusted by the extortionate price tag they charged for it. Don't even get me started on the coffee. The so-called lattes and cappuccinos were watered down, no doubt to save on milk, neither had micro-foam a core component of these beverages. To anyone considering a visit to this place, save your money and look elsewhere.

The only thing that let it down was the food. I got Eggs Benedict and the poached eggs were very hard, so disappointing. The homemade soda farl a bit in the thin and overdone side. Husband got a breakfast burrito and he thought it was just ok. Service was brilliant, couldn’t fault it and atmosphere was nice.

Most delicious food and coffee, friendly staff and just a cosy environment.

Update 3rd August 2025: Visited today at 12.30pm, the staff mentioned they were busy and there would be a 20 minute wait for to be served; the food arrived one hour later. There was a palpable delay, with many other patrons waiting similarly extended periods, while others arriving later were served in a timely manner. At no stage did any member of management or staff acknowledge this protracted delay or offer complimentary drinks or a discounted bill. When the food did eventually arrive, it was luke warm and items ordered were missing, We asked for water on three separate occasions before it was served. This restaurant has had a recent makeover, resulting in significantly increased seating capacity, however the management would have been better advised to focus on customer service, staff training and getting the food orders correct rather than cosmetic changes.

UPDATE: There has been issues with this place the last three visits in a row-items missing from the order, overcooked/burnt food and no apology when pointed out. As mentioned, it's a pleasant cafe in a good location but the standard of food and service leaves much to be desired.

This is a pleasant cafe/restaurant in a good location. The food is reasonably priced however the service is slow, the food was overcooked and the portion sizes are insufficient. On my last visit, I was waiting circa ten minutes for the order to be taken then circa 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Other patrons were also waiting for a similar period. The restaurant was busy but not excessively so. An additional side dish was ordered(due to the small portion size) but it didn't arrive. I would go back to this restaurant but the above-mentioned issues need to...

Regular customers for the last nine year's. So disappointed with the new menu and app for placing orders Myself and my husband always get two large Fry's and it larder never disappointed before now. This morning was a disaster, not to mention the noise from the washing of dishes in front of you and the noise. We are so disappointed cremated sausages and order mix ups on basis standards If they can get Fry's right there no hope for the other item's Staff still very friendly and helpful but are very disheartened by what is happening. I don't think the kitchen staff are able to cope with the extra table numbers. They Will have do better soon or people will find...
