Stables — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

June 24 - 5 adults had lunch in the bar as the dining area was closed. The atmosphere was a bit flat with very poor lighting and a lot of hard surfaces making it noisy. Not a great start but the food and good service more than made up for that. Cream of veg soup - fab! The Burger, Lasagne, Roast Beef and Salmon were all brilliant. Big portions justified prices. Feb25 - 2 adults have lunch. Specials more expensive than many items on regular menu, and not worth it. Massive piece of battered fish, veg and chips all tasted of nothing much, reheated from frozen by the look and taste of them. Food here is fantastic. Really great quality and very cheap. Even catered for my mother who is a celiac. Update: ordered a kids steak dinner on sunday, very disappointed. They only served have a steak. I've ordered many kids steak dinners from here and that the 1st time I was served half a steak of which I was charged £16 for. I hadn't been in a while, so headed in for a bite to eat. Lovely steak, rare as ordered and with all the trimmings. Herself had fish and was very happy.
